iOS is more used Than Android in U.S and UK.

Research showed that Apple's iOS platform is more "attractive" to users than Google's Android, referring to the US and the UK market.

It has been confirmed that Android increased its market share across Europe in 12 weeks of sales that ended on September 30. In European regions, Android platform climbed to 67 percent share, more than 51 percent that was a year ago while iOS, experienced a decrease to 16.5 percent.

However, in the U.S., iOS gained market share from 31.5 percent last year to almost 38 percent during the 12-week period. The Android market share decreased from more than 66 percent to 57.5 percent. In the UK, Apple had an increase of 28 percent, more than 18 percent previously, while Android market share rose up to 58 percent from  previous 53 percent.

So this results show that somehow customers prefer more the iOS platform and services than those of Android's.

The other rival of the battle "Microsoft windows phone platform" is climbing fast. Which means more market battles. It is believed that Microsoft will claim the market throne but nothing is certain!
