PS3 passes safety certification in China.

The PlayStation 3 is now approved in China through the China Compulsory Certificate, which sets safety requirements for participation in the Chinese market till 2016.

Since consoles have been banned in China since 2000 and people only had the chance to risk purchase consoles illegally , Play station 3's movement is certainly a step toward a console incursion in the Asian mainland.

Probably more console companies will try their luck with the Chinese terms of console marketing in the next years .
