Pirate Bay Moves to The Cloud

After The Pirate Bay website announced it was getting rid of its direct torrent links. now it's time to move one more step and as from yesterday they announced that they got rid of their physical servers too.

Bittorrent Inc. testing new revenue stream: Spreading RealPlayer

According to the Bittorrent blog, the company is now testing a new way of generating revenue benefiting both themselves and the artists. Unfortunately that includes spreading the controversial software Realplayer. Erik Klinker, Bittorrent CEO, said on Bittorrent's blog that the company is trying "a new idea that could revolutionize the content business".  The idea is to release various types of media content to the Bittorrent network for free and to generate revenue by including a software offer from partners. Both Bittorrent Inc. and the artists get paid once the software is downloaded too.
