Motorola unveils the Atrix HD Developer Edition.

Motorola just unveiled the Atrix HD Developer Edition. A smartphone which allows fully customization due to the unlockable bootloader.

It delivers the same specifications as the original, but  by being able to be customized, it makes it special for users that like customizations.

The bootloader allows users to install custom ROMs without having to deal with any additional hacking. For instance, the smartphone's owners can considerably modify Android's look and feel.

However, Motorola won't allow users to unlock the bootloader without voiding the warranty first.

 Coming to specs:

The Atrix HD comes with a 4.5-inch screen of a 1,280 x 720 pixel ColorBoost display, a dual core processor running at 1.5GHz and an 8 megapixel camera with full HD recording capability.

It has features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB, 1GB of RAM, 8GB on-board storage, a microSD card slot and a 1780mAh battery.

Probably the price will be a little higher than the unmodifiable previous version. A hint that is not yet announced.
