According to Swedish retail site Webhalen.com, the ARM-based Windows RT tablet with 32GBs of space is priced at £648 ($1000) - and this is supposed to be the cheaper model, in contrast to the Surface Pro.
However, Sweden’s taxes, which are higher for electronic devices, might be responsible for that price, which means
that we could see the device at £599. That is equivalent to the
price of the iPad’s higher-end model.
We still have no clue about the price for the higher-end, Intel Core i5 based
Windows 8 tablet, but there are speculations that it’ll be priced
between £700 and £850 ($1,100 and $1,300).
