You have been waiting for a remake of Baldur's Gate for years? Well the time of release is near but the game won't be available through the usual channels like Steam or GoG, but instead will be exclusively available through Beamdog's website and the App Store on launch date, according to a tweet by Beamdog founder Trent Oster. Boxed copies will also not be available since the business deal for boxed copies is in "limbo."The good news is that you won't have to download a separate client to play Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition. Oster's stated that there will only be a launcher that will check for updates, but that'll be it.
