Windows 8 Store now has 400 apps

According to McAkins Online, as of today, the Windows Store has 400 apps available for download for users of the Release Preview version of Windows 8. This number may seem small, but this is for a pre-release version of Windows 8, and also, Microsoft will not accept submissions for paid apps until the RTM (Release To Manufacturing) version is officially launched in the first week of August.

The site breaks down the apps in various categories. The most apps, 63 in total, are in the News and Weather group. The games category is close behind with 59 apps, followed by 47 entertainment Apps. Music and Video apps are in fourth place with 22 apps, followed by the Books and Reference category with 21 apps.
