It was announced this week that Lenovo's CEO, Yang Yuanqing, has elected to give $3 million of his yearly bonus
to a large number of his company's employees. It's not like he can't afford to do it, he earned a total of $14
million for the year adter all, so why not make some eployees happy and boost morale?
According to a report by CNN, Yuanging earned $5.2 million in bonuses for Lenovo's fiscal year that
ended in March. That includes a $3 million bonus for achieving a large profit increase for the company in the last fiscal
year, with profits up 73 percent compared to the same period a year ago. The $3 million Yuanging decided to give to 10,000 Lenovo
employees, means that each of them will get an extra $314 in their pay
checks.
