
What’s interesting though is the fact that Blackberry already had similar functionality in all of their smartphones. Users have always been able to use their voice to call contacts, for example. Unfortunately they never saw the mass appeal for this feature and therefore didn’t put in many resources to keep improving it and updating it with new capabilities, allowing Apple’s Siri and Samsung’s S-Voice to take over.
Does RIM have a chance of competing with the likes of Google, Apple, and Microsoft or has the ship already sailed?
